A member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Joseph was among the first massage therapists in Washington to receive the intra-oral endorsement in 2008. He worked at the TMJ Orofacial Disorders Center from 2008-2011 under the direction of Dr. Pehling, DDS. Since then he’s studied with internationally acclaimed pioneers in Dentistry (Dr. Jim Carlson DDS), Chiropractic (Dr. Robert Walker DC), and Physical Therapy (Bill Esser PT).
Joseph has presented on TMJ disorders to physicians and other health care practitioners at various Seattle clinics and teaches intra-oral endorsement courses for licensed massage therapists.
Joseph effectively treats complex cases including migraine and sinus headaches, post TMJ-surgery recovery, trigeminal neuralgia, degenerative joint disease, effects of orthodontia, dental trauma, and more.
